OK. So of course, this isn't unbiased. But, it is the score I'd give a book using pure merit.

The catch. What makes this book interesting.
Narrative
Voice:
Readability and flow with a side dish of emotion. Also a heads up on the Point of View (POV) from which the story is told.
Pace:
How quickly the story progresses. Whether or not it drags in areas.
Characters:
A very biased account of whether or not I liked the main characters.
Worldbuilding:
The setup of the world. Is it well-developed? Does it make sense? Is there too much? Not enough?
Tension:
Does this book drive you to keep reading in order to find out what will happen next?
